Sustainability

Rocky Ridge Farm is proud to use sustainable growing practices. These include:

• All waste is composted on site and the compost is used for dressing subsequent beds

• Winter tulips are grown in a minimally heated greenhouse overnight when the temperatures drop.

• Non synthetic amendments are added to the soil, such as fish and seaweed oil, worm castings, neem oil, to name a few. 

• Native plants are grown all over the property to foster biodiversity
